A filter press is a highly efficient, compact, dewatering device for separating solids from liquid slurries in the form of compressed cake. Its major components are a structured framework, filter chambers.

Most useful for clear filtration of sugar syrups, liquids, beverages, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, Perfumes, Dyes & Intermediates, Activated Carbon, Cosmetics, Varnishes, Polymers, Resins & Paints, Plant water Polishing, Fruit Juice, Soft drink, Edible & Non-Edible etc.

Optional-heating arrangement by M.S./ S.S. Steam heated jacket with standard connections. Glass wool insulation with S.S. Cladding can be provided as per GMP. Available in a wide range of output capacities.
FEATURES:

Inner frames assembly
Available in two different models:

1. Standard/Sparkler type
The impure liquid to be filtered is fed to the filter shell by the pump. It arrives on the top of the each plates from the opening on the sides of the plate. As liquid pressure increases the filter media(paper/fabric) hold back the impurities & allow the crystal clear filtrate to pass through the central channel. This takes the filtrate to the outlet of filter. This type is used to obtain very clear liquid and the cost of raw material is not higher (as some residue remains in the machine).
Cake formed can be obtained/ removed, when flow becomes very slow due to pressure created by formation of cake.

2. Zero hold up/reverse flow type
Here the direction of flow is exactly opposite to the flow in standard filter, the impure liquid to be filtered enters the filter from the bottom into the central channel & goes to the top of each plate. The clear filtrate flows out from the opening on sides of plates to the shell & then to the outlet. The flow ensures almost 100% filtration of the liquid and no residue/wastage occurs, hence suitable for costlier raw material.
