The flexibility and high strain capability of m-pipe® allow complex flowlines and jumper spools to be greatly simplified. Heavy non-bonded flexible pipe or long steel pipe sections with multiple flow bends can be replaced by short straight lengths of lightweight m-pipe® flexed to the required interface geometry. This eliminates the need for costly metrology and provides a spool or flowline that is less susceptible to subsea elements as corrosion, sour service, seabed interaction and fatigue from slugging.

m-pipe® and industry standard end fittings are available from 1.5 inch up to 12 inch jumpers for offshore and onshore water, gas and oil applications.

m-pipe® is a high performance carbon composite pipe qualified to DNVGL-RP-F119 for use in reliable subsea production systems due to its light weight, high strength, high flow rate and resistance to corrosion, sour service and fatigue loading. m-pipe® simplifies subsea piping design and architecture. Critically, m-pipe® also simplifies subsea installation procedures and operational activities, to drive improvements in long term reliability, such as a reduced need for inspection, maintenance, repair or replacement.

m-pipe® is proven to substantially reduce subsea project costs and reduce project deployment risk, through easier, faster deployment with no need for ancillaries like bend stiffeners or large buoyancy modules and the ability to use smaller vessels.

m-pipe® has a high strain capability ten times that of steel, and can accommodate axial compression loads without birdcaging or excessive fatigue damage rates. This allows m-pipe® to be deployed in simpler, lower cost subsea piping configurations that are not possible with steel or non-bonded flexible pipe, either due to weight or axial compression limits.
