Hydraulic Mounting on Tapered Journal
Hydraulic mounting and dismounting is a Procedure using a Pressurized fluid for joining and separating cylindrical or tapered surfaces. This procedure is recommended for medium and large size bearings.
For heavy duty bearings, it requires lot of force to mount these bearings on tapered surfaces i.e. either directly on Tapered Journals, or with Adapter /Withdrawal sleeves on cylindrical shafts.
Manual methods can be used for mounting small size bearings i.e., for bearings upto 120 mm basic bore dia; For larger size bearings, Hydraulic Mounting is recommended.
MBM Manufactures Hydraulic nuts of different sizes ranging from HYD12 (suitable for 60mm shafts) and HYD200 (suitable for 1000mm shafts). Hydraulic pumps are provided which generate pressure upto 1000 bar.
Reduce premature bearing failure by using proper mounting techniques and tools.
