This is a change of the ram pump’s traditional design for the waste valve. This waste valve is created with a threaded rod, nuts, piece of a car tire, some washers and pipes with holes drilled in them. The assumption is that it will be easier to drill holes in pipes than find specialty parts or repair specialty parts. This also uses a horizontal pressure chamber that has foam pipe insulation or bicycle tire for absorbing the shock.
NOTE: The application of this is to be positioned right next to a stream using the water drop as the power source. Don’t worry about waste…it goes right back into the stream for the people down river to use.
