i know the sound was coming from inside the inlet manifold. If you take it off and split the manifold you will find a plate that is fasten with 2 bolts. This is what comes loose and making the noise. see my full video here What I have done with my car was removing the bolts and putting Loctite on it before fasting it. it is not the camshaft as i was told and you may be also told the same and charged over £500 – £1000 to fix the problem and all it is is two tighten 2 bolts up inside the inlet manifold.
all cars with a split air in take will suffer with this problem
