The multi-wire spiralling machine creates one or more reinforcement spirals on the hose to guarantee its resistance to high pressures and sufficient flexibility. On the basis of the characteristics of the hose to be produced, this machine may have a different number of decks and bobbins. The bobbins for each deck may be 24, 32, 36 or as specifically requested.
The line is composed of a first wrapping deck, for the application of the textile reinforcement on the under layer, and by 4 or 6 spiralling decks.
A system for applying the rubber bond is provided between each deck to prevent friction between the spirals.
The haul-off and all the decks are in electrical synchronization and controlled by a PLC.
The line is fitted with a soundproofed protection cabin.
