Summary of Proposed Solution
-Cost effective base vehicle, multi terrain, equipped with standard structural connectors (quick attach implements) in strategic locations throughout the chassis;
-Modular open-architecture concept, designed for quick and ease of fabrication, modification, maintenance and repair;
-Diesel engine / multi-fuel power unit (preferred solution) for reliability;
-Skid steer system for simplicity and extreme maneuverability.
The vehicle is easy configurable in multiple variants, with multiple ready available (borrowed) optional equipment and accessories.

Detailed Description
The Nonesuch MLV 51 main design features are the following:
-quick fabrication (just-in-time) from off-the-shelf materials and components with little or no modifications-anywhere, anytime;
-ease of fabrication (on-the-spot) from off-the-shelf, ready available materials and tested components with little or no modifications-anywhere, anytime;
-very few welded components; mainly bolt-on connections are used
-many sub-assemblies have dual role (chassis can be used as fuel tank also)
-only standard structural profiles (inch or metric) used throughout
-no special processes are used in the fabrication
-no high precision / tight tolerances processes are used in the integration / customization of the vehicle
-no exotic materials, chemicals or technologies are used in the fabrication
-no active patents are used
-no specialized tools or equipment required for fabrication
-no proprietary processes, components, chemicals, tools or equipment required for fabrication
-simplified logistics (components of the vehicle can be delivered in kit form)

Main assembly (module) consists of:
a) Rolling chassis c/w 2 axles / 4 wheels non-steerable (mechanically or hydraulically actuated); available as kit also
b) Power Plant-non engine specific, (optional air-cooled gas / diesel / multi-fuel engine, non-electronic controlled and hand crank-able)
c) Transmission: modified mechanical standard gearbox OR open / closed loop hydraulic circuit
d) Steering system: skid steer
e) Standard connectors (quick attach implements) in strategic locations

Secondary assemblies (plug-gable modules) are:

Multi-mission on-the-fly field configurable using hand tools only:
-personnel transport, field shop support, mobile office, ambulance, equipment/fluids transport, etc.

-at least two vehicles can be interconnected in a master-slave configuration.
